Ballet
Ballet is the fundamental discipline of dance. Ballet focuses on grace, balance, posture, flexibility and strength. Ballet is the base of every dance style. Dancers develop strength, control and musicality through a variety of exercises at the barre and in the center.
Ages 2+
Jazz
Jazz is a fun, upbeat, sassy dance style. Students will learn a variety of steps, leaps and turns and together form stylized combinations. Jazz is an exciting form of dance that demonstrates fluidity, style, passion and energy.
Ages 4+
Acrobatics
Acro is a form of dance that incorporates flexibility, gymnastics, strength. Acro focus on basic dance skills accompanies by grace and expression. Dancers use mats for safety and the instructor will spot students.
Ages 4+
Tap
Tap dance focuses on rhythms, sounds and movements with their feet. Tap dancing increases a dancers understanding of timing, rhythm and counts. Students wear tap shoes with two pieces of metal on the soles and work to hit rhythmic patterns.
Ages 4+
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a very popular form of dance. It focuses on quick, groovy, coordinates steps and moves. This dynamic genre will challenge students as they learn how to move in a controlled, yet loose style involving movements such as popping, locking, isolating and breaking.
Ages 4+
Lyrcial
Lyrical is a dance style similar to Ballet, but it is generally danced to lyrics. Powerful and expressive movements are used in Lyrical dance to express a range of strong emotions such as love, joy, anger and more through dancing.
Ages 6+
Contemporary
Contemporary is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several genres. Dancers will incorporate modern dancing styles including what is learned in Jazz and Ballet and favors movement deriving from the expression of inner feeling.
